Innovation Driven Enterprises (IDEs) Program aims to support 1st Strategy of Thailand’s 20-Year National Strategy (2018 – 2037), which focuses on developing the Thai economy by creating value and fostering an innovative ecosystem capable of competing and achieving self-sufficiency in sustainability. This involves encouraging businesses to leverage science, research, and innovation, as well as strengthen innovation ecosystem. Additionally, it entails creating networking to enhance competitiveness and increase the income level of businesses, ultimately leading to a self-reliant country.
Goals
To develop a global and entrepreneurial mindset and elevate ME/LE to IDE.
To Bridge the innovation gaps of Thailand ME/LE ecosystem by promoting “mentoring system and mentorship network” model.
Strategy
- Supporting businesses that have already developed to a certain level, increase innovation capacity, and manage obstacles to grow with the potential to be a 1,000 million baht business sustainably.
2. Mentoring System and Mentorship Network
Mentoring System and Mentorship Network uses the service mechanism of professional organizations to work together, allowing business IDE candidate to enhance their competencies, including knowledge, skills, and attitudes toward IDEs. IDEs program include;
- Intermediary: A juristic person registered in Thailand lead, guide, coach, facilitate, coordinate, foster, and monitor, as well as provide specialized experts for IDE candidate.
- Innovation Business Development Service (IBDS): An organization with particular expertise in innovation development.
- IDE candidate: Medium Enterprise (MEs) and Large Enterprise (LEs) leverage innovation to achieve exponential growth and sustainability.
3. Providing fund to selected Intermediary having IDE candidates, who Intend to have a strategic plan, Strengthen innovation capability, product innovation, process innovation, market innovation, and organizational innovation.
4. Recruiting and screening intermediaries and IBDS with quality and various accreditations motivates the organization for continuous self-development.
5. Monitoring and Evaluation to ensure the achivement of the program
